The Lemba: A Lost Tribe of Israel in Southern Africa?

The Lemba people are concentrated largely in the former Venda, Sekhukhuneland and in the southern parts of Zimbabwe. Has the author ‘discovered’ a ‘lost tribe of Israel’ who might be able to illuminate concepts of pre-monarchic Israel right on our doorstep? DNA samples, taken from their Buba clan point to a very close relationship between them (the Buba) and those of the cohamin (priesthood) in Israel and all over the world.
