“Racial Diversity and the American Jewish Community,” an article by Diane Tobin & Aryeh Weinberg, was featured in The Journal of Jewish Communal Service, essentially summarizing our world view, including the extent to which the American Jewish community has become embedded in America’s racialism, whitewashing Judaism’s most valuable asset in an interconnected world: its diversity under a singular Jewish umbrella. In response, Be’chol Lashon created Interactive workshops and educational resources to engage and guide community conversations about diversity within communities and organizations. The goal of the workshops is to unpack the politics of race in America, providing the skills, tools, and expertise to navigate different cultural spaces in a Jewish context.
