Emily McDonnell is a proud citizen of the Navajo Nation. She is a PhD student in the American Studies department at UNC Chapel Hill. When she is not busy reading (she is almost always busy reading) she enjoys running, practicing her Spanish, and being outdoors. She is a 2021-2022 Humanities for the Public Good Fellow at UNC.
