What is Sigd?

Check out our infographic about Sigd.

Be’chol Lashon is pleased to announce the launching of a new infographic about the meaning of the ancient Jewish holiday Sigd. Through the generations, Sigd was preserved by Ethiopian Jews, many of whom hope that greater awareness of the holiday will spread to Jews worldwide. In 2022, Sigd, which falls on the 29th of Cheshvan, will be observed on Wednesday, November 23rd. We at Be’chol Lashon hope that this infographic will provide a framework for those interested in engaging with the significant themes and traditions of Sigd.
