Virtual, NYC
The HeARTwork Against Hate is an annual creative initiative for New York City youth launched by the NYC Office for the
Prevention of Hate Crimes (OPHC) in September 2020. The goal is to promote positive messaging, focused on respect and unity
among NYC youths. This project will support the emotional well-being of our students by creating a platform that helps them process
their feelings and increases their self-esteem through artistic expression. Their creativity will impact and inspire adults. HeARTwork
Against Hate provides a unique opportunity and platform for young New Yorkers to use artistic expression as an outlet. Deadline March 1
