Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Hear Our Voices

Honor the spirit and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at our annual free admission day. Remember Civil Rights advocate and longtime Call and Post Associate Publisher and Executive Editor Connie Harper in a panel discussion on the importance of black voices in the media at 11:30am. Hear an inspiring performance followed by a conversation with Pushcar-nominated poet, TEDx speaker an acclaimed facilitator of critical identity discussions Aaron Levy Samuels at 1pm. And sing for social change with a look back at protest music led by Cleveland Blues Society founder and musician Bob Frank at 3pm. Other activities include a public peace pledge and an “I have a dream” craft. Sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.
