Under One Tent

WELCOME

We welcome you to our expanded 2017–2018 fall/winter semester of Under One Tent. Since our first event in 2012, this cultural and educational series has reflected the dynamic nature of the Contra Costa Jewish community. Starting this September, we will be showcasing the Tri-Valley region’s events as well.

As the convener of this exciting (and growing) program, the Contra Costa Jewish Community Center is proud to partner with the many synagogues, Jewish schools and organizations serving Contra Costa and Tri-Valley. Working together, we are able to present a very diverse line-up: from culinary-related sessions to cinematic offerings; from lectures on contemporary issues to events that deal with topics of interest to parents and anyone who cares about today’s youth. We have even added a new program, Eyes on Health, which we will sponsor every semester — each time with a different health-related topic.

So join us. Learn. Laugh. Become engaged. Under One Tent is all about coming together in an inclusive, connected and exciting community!

Pre-registration is strongly recommended for several of the programs listed in this brochure. Sometimes, an admission fee is lower if you sign up ahead of time. For others, there may be limited seating, so it is important to sign up early. For these programs, we list the web address or a phone number of the main sponsor.
